Founded by NC State grad Jake Wilson, Onyx Lawn Care began with a single mower and a passion for transforming Raleigh's challenging red clay landscapes. After years of watching generic lawn services struggle with our region's specific conditions, we built a team that truly understands local soil science.
Our approach combines data-driven soil treatments with old-fashioned attention to detail. We test drainage patterns in Brier Creek's compacted soils, select grass varieties proven to thrive near Pullen Park, and time treatments around North Carolina's unpredictable spring storms.
